Ian E. Lay

Senior Accountant

Ian Lay is a senior accountant at New Republic Partners where he is involved in both accounting and finance initiatives.

Ian brings broad experience in financial accounting for alternative investments. Previously, he worked at Credit Suisse on the alternative investments accounting team where he assisted with private equity fund consolidation and regulatory reporting. While there he also served as part of the investment banking and capital markets divisional finance team where he assisted with FP&A activities. He also worked at PwC providing audit services to private equity firms in New York.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he earned his Master of Accounting from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
