Cort A. Haber

Managing Director

Cort Haber is a managing director and member of the executive committee at New Republic Partners. He also serves as a member of the firm’s investment committee. Cort brings expertise in providing a wide range of wealth advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth clients and institutions throughout the United States. 

Prior to joining New Republic Partners, Cort founded and led Haber Investment Counsel, a multi-disciplined consultancy serving a select group of wealthy families and institutions. He also served as an executive director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and as a senior vice president in the private wealth management practice at UBS. 

Earlier in his career, Cort served as an outsourced chief investment officer for Hirtle Callaghan & Co. where he advised family groups, endowments and foundations on investment policy, portfolio construction and manager selection. Cort began his career at Arthur Andersen in the qualified plans and institutional investment advisory practice.

An Atlanta native, Cort is involved in several civic organizations. He is a board member emeritus of the board of visitors for the University of Georgia. He served on the board of trustees and the investment committee for The Jewish Home Life Communities Foundation. He also served two terms as chair of the investment committee for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta Endowment. 

Cort is a graduate of the Philanthropic Advisors Leadership Institute, a leadership development program for a select group of Atlanta area professional advisors sponsored by the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta, the United Way and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. 

Cort holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of Georgia. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has served as a subject matter expert for the CFP Board of Standards drafting and reviewing questions for board examinations.
