Kait Salgueiro is an associate at New Republic Partners. She partners closely with the firm’s advisors to support client relationships, coordinate financial planning initiatives, and assist in the execution of comprehensive wealth management strategies.

Prior to joining the firm, Kait served as a client service manager for Barings where she led the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Client directive. In addition to her regulatory work, she specialized in providing customized service to financial advisors and clients. Kait began her career as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual.

As a graduate of Furman University, Kait spent her first years post-grad serving on Furman’s Young Alumni Council. During her time there, she counseled the board on matters impacting young alumni and advocated for new graduates as they transitioned to alumni status. She is also a former board member of the American Academy of Sports Dieticians and Nutritionists (AASDN) where she served as the financial consultant for the nonprofit.

Kait graduated from Furman University magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in finance.
